BevCon In The News....
Announcement Plans for 2019 BevCon®!
It is with a heavy heart that I write this letter. After three years of producing BevCon®, I have decided to take a break and not organize the event in 2019. I am not closing the door and there may be a time when we are able to host BevCon® again. But for now it is on hiatus and we will see what is to come.
BevCon® has been a true passion project for me. It was created in 2016 after realizing there was not already an event for all of the beverage industry to come together in a meaningful and intimate way. It was an event that I was seeking to attend, and it was rewarding to see it come together and accomplish just that. I have met so many talented professionals and learned from the best in the business. I hope those that attended, presented, and sponsored had that same experience as well, and I would like to thank them for their support the last three years. I also want to thank Sara Donahue, who has been an incredible work partner for BevCon®. I could not have done it without her amazing organization skills and incredible work ethic.
Last, I am not an openly spiritual person, but I want to thank God for giving me the wisdom, strength, courage, and love to be able to do an event like BevCon®. My goal was to ultimately raise money for food and beverage related causes, especially as it relates to disaster relief. This dream did not happen yet, but I am still dedicated to finding a way to do this and I know God has plans for me to do so. I pray that you too follow your dreams and use the talents given to you to do great things. The road might be difficult, and sometimes seem overwhelming, but I encourage you to take the risks it takes to live the life you were destined for.
With this free time, I am dedicated to continuing to build my new Event Consulting company--Sipindipity. If you or someone you know needs help with events on any level, please let me know. I would love to work with any of you to continue to grow this industry!
