The cocktail movement is stronger than ever, with more bartenders becoming operators and bringing their knowledge to their own concepts. But how does one navigate a project from conceptualization to realization? In this module, the focus will be on the months—and sometimes years—to opening the doors of a bar for the first time. Particular attention will be paid to finding the venue, raising capital, managing build and cash flow, and the less glamorous elements of opening a bar.
